GP Extended Opening Hours Clinics

We would like all patients in our community to be able to see a local GP or Nurse when they need to. We have set up a network of GP Practices across the region offering extended opening hours for pre-bookable and same day routine extended access appointments.

The GP extended opening hours service operates between:

  • 9.00am - 1.00pm on Saturdays at Stafford Health & Wellbeing
  • 6.00pm - 8.00pm Monday to Friday & Sunday 9am - 1pm for patients willing to travel to GP Practices located within Shrewsbury & Atcham, Telford & Wrekin and South Shropshire.

The service is forecast to continue until 30th September 2018.

Call now to book a routine appointment 0333 222 6649.

Extended Hours

We run a late evening surgery on Mondays and Tuesdays. These are pre-bookable 10 minute appointments designed for patients who would otherwise find it difficult to see a Doctor during normal opening hours due to their work.

Please note that Extended Hours Appointments can only be booked via Reception (not online).

You may not be able to see your usual Doctor. We are also unable to provide blood testing, dressings and chaperone during these hours, therefore some patients may have to come back and see a Nurse.
